We See Things Differently is a youth led, collaborative campaign to collect and connect our stories, our visions and our efforts to remake the world within one generation. We want to hear from the young leaders around the planet: What is your vision for a better world? What issues are important to you and what you doing about it? International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

In the words of Kofi Annan, "Illicit drugs destroy innumerable individual lives and undermine our societies. Confronting the illicit trade in drugs and its effects remains a major challenge for the international community." Global Dignity Day Canada - Call for Nominations

Global Dignity Day Canada brings together role models from across the country to inspire and encourage students to make dignified, positive, and inclusive life choices as they develop into their best selves. The goal of this year's event is to highlight dignity as a vehicle to unify and broaden our sense of community, and instill the notion that one's actions can impact and enrich the lives of others. We're looking for youth role models who are examples of living with dignity to be featured in the Global Dignity Day Canada celebrations this October. Do you have someone to nominate? World Refugee Day

There are over 20 million refugees in the world many who have fled their countries due to civil wars and ethnic, tribal and religious violence. On June 20 join us in honouring World Refugee Day to focus not only on the causes of their exile, but also on their determination and will to survive and on the contributions they make to their host communities.

World Music Day

"Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent."- Victor Hugo. The Fête de la Musique, also known as World Music Day, is a music festival taking place on June 21, the summer solstice. Music is the sound of a society, of a time and a place. It articulates the ideas and emotions that "cannot remain silent." This refusal to remain silent is why music has so much social power. To celebrate world music day, we invite you to explore the connection between music and social change.
