What happened to the Fire…..?
Remember the deep mystical soul
The magic, the purity, the pleasure
Reminisce on the glorious,
Does it bring tears to your eyes?
Everything Talent writes now is so uninspired
The passion overridden by the mission
The soul but a vacant shell
The heart a tempestuous sea
What happened to the Power……?
Remember the union
Inseparable heart, mind, body and soul,
Does it tear at your heart?
No inspiration, just inflammation,
Scribe on if you will,
Set the score, habit or calling
No Devotion, no pride, no thrill
Inspiration was when Talent had value
When creation was an art,
Creativity a blessing
That was when Talent was Beloved
What happened to the Love?
Remember the beauty,
Of that great story interrupted?
Does it defeat your soul?
Take to story telling
For, Oh this written piece is so uninspired
