| Love: Do We Understand It? |

There are several things worth knowing in this world. There are various fields of knowledge and many paths needing exploration. There are several fields, which come within the normal purview of man’s curiosity. We must have heard about the very hard working, four chambered pump, most vital of human organs, from poets, lovers certainly having very romantic character. We could say that it’s a beauty, weighing almost 300 grams, is red brown in color and more pear shaped than the common Valentine.
Yeah, I am talking about “The Lighthouse of our Physical Temple” also known as the Heart. The heart, a dwelling of love which goes on to be explored seems more pretentious than infinite varieties that are needed to carry on the myriad different activities that constitute life.
Love, the treasure of emotions; the bond which makes/joins the relations/the living beings; the only factor which challenges vital energy. Love motivates lovers to reach its peak, if it’s a true love, it is not limited to physical pleasures. Love awakes and elevates our good effects, overall intelligence, sharpness in our vicinity, the emancipation of ourselves in the truest sense. Love is never seen but always felt by every small living particle existing in our body.
But unfortunately, the fundamental soundness of love in today’s life has deteriorated. Sexual activities, thoughts & feelings have been mingled with love in such a way that only these seem like the natural instinct of it. This is certainly a calumnious ideology. I am excused to say but films and film stars are also strengthening this whammy. I ask avoiding the tightly interwoven system of give and take, if only sex denotes the prototype of love then, why do sexual intercourse/activities account for a loss in vital energy? This loss can also be noticed visibly as dullness in eyes, spiritless face, dry skin, lethargic body and feelings of oblivion, illusion and fatigue. Love is supposed to increase our vital strength and enthusiasm, so why is there a reduction in the bio-magnetism in the body?
Generally, the youth mistake accounting the heterosexuality as love, which is the greatest fallacy done by them. Actually heterosexuality occurs only due to the bio-electromagnetism of a man & woman. There are a lot of relations between two opposite in sex in which sexual thoughts, feelings can’t be accepted at any cost.
If I would be asked, do I love my mother, or sister, the answer must be positive but how can I dare to have sexual feelings for them. Today, love appears to be auctioned on a payment basis in a shopping mart, which is definitely a dangerous ocular consequence of filling sex in for love. This is a paltry malady, which is by and by maiming humanitarianism, and we all are watching it like nosy seers.
The great wealth in love is creating some leading questions before each and every capita of our society, which is why some demarcations have been made. In Hindi, the word "maryada" means demarcations/precincts, which lead a man towards awakening, making a distinction between a man & an animal. This is the philosophical/ principal difference between Indian & Occidental cultures.
Love motivates the eternal bliss of the complete merge of our individual selves into one. Each & every person of this Universe cherishes this conformity & union. But people try to search it through sexual activities, which only result in a loss in vital energy and its subtle strength.
There has been a narrow definition of love in modern life, limited only to physicalities and pleasures associated with it, which is raving balderdash. It must be explained proving the authenticity of all aspects versus subtle, conscious, astral and physical values, a miniature representation of well-fashioned Cosmos.
The complexity of our body system is possible only by the interlinking of material based scientific research and the realization of the invisible subtle powers through spirituality which indicates the beginning of a collaborative research between the physical and spiritual sciences. If this could ever be done unveil the mystery of our body system and the universe, it would turn out to be the greatest gift of the creator of the cosmos endowed upon our life.

do we understand love? the question is hard to answer. I find it a bit tough to make genereralizations about such topics. This is because there was never an agreement about the true meaning of love. Some see that love is the mere physical attraction between two persons, while others see that it is a spiritual, up-lifting feeling of you accepting a person, fully and completely with all his good and bad sides. Probably the first group believes that the second group does not understand love correctly, and vice versa of course. And so, I don't think we can ever know if we understand love correctly. It is not mathematics, it is a very personal, intimate feeling that interpreted differently by each individual, and like all abstract concepts, it can never have a definite meaning on which every body agrees. Therefore, I believe that everybody interprets love from his prespective of life, and every one is right from his own point of view!
