I waited days, I waited nights,
abandon by the filthiest site.
I needed help, to be alright
You saw my eyes and walked away.
I waited days, I waited long
I awaited for a better song,
but never heard a single one.
I wanted sun, to dry me warm,
it didn't shine upon my loin.
I needed health, to be my wealth..
So this life can be a cheer.
I needed food for a day
But never had a cent to pay.
I needed you, to take me home
you did relent, but walked again.
Ooh! now I feel awfully ill
Sitting weak upon my feet,
caz everyone abandoned me
when I needed a home to in
only God destroyed the shame.
