I saw a tree.
It was big
Beautiful.

In its arms,
words of children
hang

Wise words of children
Messages of peace,
friendship,
love.

Messages of our home,
Earth

Messages and words
on signs and pictures
beautiful things
That make stars glisten in a child's eyes

Those wise words
and beautiful things
were removed.

I saw it being removed.
By men in shining black shoes.
By men who had the power to change.
They had the chance to listen.

The arms of the beautiful tree became empty.
And the questions remained.
