Once Upon a time
I had a funny feeling
From this funny feeling
I could grab nothing

In a fix, perplexed
I felt so disturbed
I looked around, Searched around
And all I saw was me

Then I stepped out of me
And looked back at me
Nothing new, nothing old
But my present me

And that me looking at me
Saw nothing else but me
Not only me in my face
But on my sides, at my back
And all around me

Me in my face,
My physical strength
Me on my right,
My ego, my will

The one on my left,
was more of anger
He at my back,
A hundred percent sadness

Hanging from the top,
A drop of arrogance
Looking from bellow,
A multitude of humility

I looked around the corners
And I saw more of me
So scared and bemused
That in the middle was emptiness

Bracing myself together,
Putting all personalities in one,
My new feeling was different
My new feeling was relief

"I", was my physical appearance
Void of all the rest
And oh! What I felt before was not funny
What I felt before was loneliness

Writer Profile
Manga Azah

"Manga Azah" I was born on the fifteenth of march 1981.I am the fifth out of six siblings.
I love technology. especially Information technology, and I have always strive beyond my own means at graping and understanding more and more of what I don't yet know.
I have always loved asking the question "why" to any situation and happening. That is the reason for which, even though being an extrovert, I love expressing myself with poems which more or less sound and look very introvert, because I think within and try to look for the answers inside. The poems reflect the numerous questions I ask myself within, together with the resulting available answers.
I am practically and developmentally Oriented. As I always try to deduce resourceful capabilities from each and every potential I come across, So I always right projects, mindless of whether there will be available funds to fuel them. I love looking at the optimistic side of things as my christian background compels me to be so.
I am a sports fan, as I am myself an almost all round athlete. Needless saying again that poetry stands in as one of my hobbies. I also love photography a lot ( took that from my dad). My dad always says "pictures tell history for themselves".
Also love travelling a lot.
Well, that's me. Living on and looking forward to life's challenges.........
