When often biodiversity and lemurs are in the spotlight, FOKO wants to focus on the Malagasy people and make them a crucial factor in their unique and threatened environment.<br />

When we composed this description back in 2007, we knew very little about the strategies we were going to implement but were convinced that our works will require dedication and activism. After weeks of relaying the news on the latest politics crisis happening in Madagascar, Lova Rakotomalala brought our country's cause to the international mainstream media which admits to have a very little coverage on the bloodly events (watch his CNN interview here). As co-founder of Foko-Madagascar but also working with  GlobalVoices Online, he spontaneously used all the resources he had in hands to share the most news possible from every sides and of course with great objectivity.]]></description>
