SA National Womans Day

My tribute to South African Woman woman around world!!

Tommorrow 9 Aug is public holiday( South African Woman Day), offices will be closed...its official- one day in a year was declared to celebrate our mothers sisters!!

The last ten years have seen fundamental changes for all South Africans, women are no exception. Although the majority of women still live in poverty without access to employment empowerment opportunities, a new generation of women is emerging.

Womans day is a reminder that we(women) are playing a crucial role in redefing creating a vibrant new culture for SA. Women are emerging from traditional patriarchal societies (across all cultures) to become more more independent, both financially emotionally. Women are infact supporting each other in building up a shared set of resources through education experience to enable their individual independence self-relience.

I won't be part of the discussion group 2morrow..for all you great women out there i will be dancing my shoe soles away!!! but i will be back(wednesday) to share how the National celebrations went what to expect in future!!!

Music is in the air....bye people!!!
