I never thought that someone so little and so cold would get to me the way he just has!!! he is such a weak character and i just allowed him to stand there and take away every bit of dignity i have, why did i do that? i have so much on my mind to tell him and put him in his place and when asked what i thought i didnt say anything!!!! i guess it all comes down to this damn fear thing again why am i so afraid? what am i really going to loose? NOTHING! its as simple as that i will loose nothing because this place has given me nothing but a good refrence on my CV, yes im talking about work again, its very hard not to when 5 days a week for 7 hours of your day your doing it,
im at work today and its a low day for me, i have no idea why because im actually doing great, guess you just end up having those days when you dont feel like being chipper and everyone pisses you off!

ok so nothing that i can write about has popped into my head, so guess this update is a waste of time,

This pic, is of my sister, i suppose you asking why she is sitting in a tree? and no the answer is not because this is where we live on the plains of africa and we run around in african skins and hunt our dinner ( Believe it or not i still get people asking me that when i tell then i am from south africa)

we were at a game farm, and saw this amazing tree that i just had to have a pic of, i had to unfortunately edit the pic because it was to large so you can just see a little of the tree and lots of my sister! i love her to bits, isnt she beautiful!!!!!

Celebs... what a shame,

A friend of mine has just come back from doing relief work in Tsunami devastated asia, she was explaining the horrors and tragedies that have effected everyone living and working there, she was explaining how they are still in desperate need of financial support to rebuild their infrastracture. and this got us to talking about celebrities and what they have done to help out, not only with the tsunami but all over the world for different things. now maybe im just niave but i dont often hear that much about celebrities really helping out, i mean sure thay attend charity functions and hold charity concerts etc, But Do Any of them actually donate money, give there time, help out? very very few do, with the likes of Bono (U2) and Oprah ( who has started many development projects regarding school education and helps build education centres here in the rural areas of my home country south africa)and Angelina Jolie ( who is a UN representative)

I was watching a documentary on the celebrity princesses of the 21st century, with the likes of britney spears and Paris hilton and i was absolutely appauled to hear that brit had just spent a whopping $100 000 ( US Dollars) on a dog collar for her excuse of a dog ( i say excuse of a dog because it looks more like an over grown cane rat) ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND US DOLLARS!!!!!! if i work that out in South African Rand its converts to just over R700 000, thats about half of what the whole of the South African population collected through a text campaign which charged citizens who owned a cellphone R30 for every sms they sent back to a certain number with the words Tsunami Relief ( regardless of whether you were stinking rich or poor, if you had access to a cellphone you could have donated)

i repeat $100 000.... just on a dog collar, when people are starving and loosing their lives to disease, they still prance around in their designer clothes, bags, shoes, cars and homes!

and when i think of it now i am ashamed at buying all those magazines that promote this mass hysteria with celebrities because in the long run it adds to their wealth which is spent on un neccessary items like dressing up little dogs in ridiculous offits that probably cost more than a normal person would spend on their entire wardrobe ( Cough Cough paris hilton),

I know that i am generalising quite a bit because i would like to believe that some celebs really do try make a difference where they can, but i am yet to hear celebs like, britney, paris, nicole, jessica, and the real top earners in celebville contributing on a personal level and not just by attending some glitzy ball to increase their populatrity,

i would like to hear comments on what other youths around the world feel about this perhaps i dont hear about all the charity work brit and the gang do because most of the news regarding them is gossip related,

i would really really like to be proven wrong because then i know that celebs are making a differnce using the money that we as average people give them!

today is friday the first in sunny south africa, today seems rather quite in the city, everyone is rather happy its the weekend because the weather is great, today the sun shining and there is not a cloud in the sky. these are the best days in SA they are perfect summer days, clear warm sunny. makes me proud to be south african. if you have ever been to visit you will know what i am talking about!

other than that its a typical day in the life of me, got up this morning at 6 am drove to work, got stuck in traffic and now i sit, at work trying to avoid the work that i have to do today... hoping that the weekend will come quickly and that when it gets here it will take very slow so that monday doesnt come again, i like my job i really do, but i dont love it, if i could i would leave here and do what i have always wanted to do, and that is teach dance... I have been doing dancing since i was four, it is whats is known overseas as disco dance, but we call it freestyle here in SA, its a type funk, urban, energetic hip hop, ( if you could imagine those all combined) i have my South African Colours and have represented my country 4 times at the wotld championships but have since stopped because life moves on and unfortunately i have to live and survive, so a typical nine to five job is required to pay the bills, which means that there is no time to train, This type of Dancing in SA is not supported by the government so they dont see it as a form of employment so you dont get paid to do it like some countries, hence the reason i am un happy at work, but nevertheless i am thinking of leaving my wonderful home for a while and gong overseas, i will start out in london ( as most SA youngsters who havent a clue what to do with themselves after they finish school do) half of london is south african, i have a good friend who is living and working there and while i was speaking to him he was interrupted by someone in the background who was speaking afrikaans, which to those who dont know is the 2nd official language in SA, we have 11 official languages here, Talk about cultures coming together but it works really well for everyone... ok back to my story so he started speaking afrikaans and it was so funny because you wouldnt expect to here something so close to home come from so far away, and he says that half of his company is South African so they all get together on a friday and have a typical south african Braai, which is basically the south african version of a barbeque,

ok i am babblng on a bit, but i want to end my travels in italy... for some reason i have always had this passion for anything italian, i am even learning to speak the language now, so want to spend some time over there! its just a matter of getting there because its quite costly to go to london from SA.

ok i must go now i have a meeting in five minutes that my boss had somehow forgotten to tell me about,

i will definately come back and write again i am hooked on typing pointless stories about myself and the world so you will definatley hear from me again,

till them

KK
p.s attached is a photo of our wonderful country, this photo is not where i come from, i am form johannesburg, no sea for miles, this is where we go on holiday, its durban! the sugar cane capital of SA this is taking n a sufar cane filed looking onto the blue durban ocean!!! see what i mean about the weather?
