a nice poem of an unknown poet :)

In the rising of the sun and in its going down,
I remember you.

In the glowing of the wind and in the chill of winter,
I remember you.

In the opening of buds and in the rebirth of spring,
I remember you.

In the blueness of the sky and in the warmth of summer,
I remember you.

In the rustling of leaves and in the beauty of autumn,
I remember you.

In the beginning of the year and when it ends,
I remember you.

When I am weary and in need of strength,
I remember you.

When I am lost and sick at heart
I remember you.

When I have joys I yearn to share,
I remember you.

So long as I live, you too shall live,
I remember you.

for you are now a part of me, as
I remember you.

He is Yuda, a personal driver for the ex-President of Israel. Worked for 6 years, traveling more than 20 countries driving the President. (truly saying he even doesn't know the exact number of countries he visited!)

Now he drives a public transportation, a mini-bus, called Sherut here. I was in front seat one day and we started talking few random things and thus we became friends :> :p

Today, Yuda was outside my home, bringing me local homemade sweets!!! (sounds very odd, huh?) He explained, "it was my wife's birthday, so remembered you".

I refused to accept at first. It's too much of our friendship. In fact I never wanted to extend it beyond my traveling with him. However, he didn't move until I took them. As I was holding the packets of sweets, the smile in his face was something special to see.

He is around 50, I guess. He easily figures me out in the crowd and screams a high-pitched "Babooooooo!" lowering his window glass whenever he passes by me.

President's friend is my friend too :) lol

After seeing this banner picture in one of my national newspaper, I was thinking about love. Youths at Nepal here are celebrating Valentine Day wishing the peace, which is, I think is the best way to celebrate this day.

Anyway, the Valentine Day concerns much about the love between two young hearts I guess. But for many, being in love is like a tradition- you've to fall in love! No, I think it's not the love in real, but just a copy seeing others without anything to our heart.

For real love, it needs very great detachment from either sides.

He, according to people, was normal minded, a govt. officer and good neighbor of the area. He got so much worried of his daughter's future and he shot dead her the other night and then ended himself.

hum... no words now; it's very hard to explain. in fact, it was terrible accident. my friend was driving and a taxi in his other side was in high speed. at the turn another car hit the bike as it was going to overtake. Sholomi his wife got knocked down couple of meters away in the pitch. he broke his right hand, legs; the worst the waist has broken and the doctors said part of the upper leg by heap was inside the stomach... wife has broken her right hand; has severe pain in her stomach chest. when I entered Room#7 of Rambam Hospital he was screaming on pain :( they were in big pain... God; it's soo sad...

nurses didn't let anyone stay long; so I returned after 15min.

Shlomi used to drive in lightening speed. There is no one around Haifa who wasn't scared seeing him on his Yahama bike. He had very good command on driving I was thrilled seeing his photo-album seeing him on highway with single wheel very close like he was flying. everyone used to suggest him to drive slowly.

I had made fun over him so many times saying; "Shlomi, your name is 'Slow-me' but you are always 'fast-me', why?' But he never believed that he drives fast. He used to say; '130-140 is nothing my bike is made in this way that you think I'm in big speed; but I'm not in actual' showing the sticker he had fix back of his bike- 'you can't drink drive' and in other side; 'but you can smoke fly' (though he was not a smoker). may be recalling things in this way might shows him almost guilty of today but it's not at all. as everyone started complaining on his driving; more his own beloved wife, he sold his heavy sports bike and was using wife's scooter; driving very slowly it happened this all of sudden.

I'm really sorry for my very nice friend seeing him in this very hard moment. It'll take him a month or two or more to get discharged but it'll probably take a long time to be cured well. a big misfortune....

though he was much older then me; married man having much responsibilities.. but he treated me as if we both were kids. as soon as he finds me close to him, he holds me on his shoulder and runs a long way in the highway ... I feel soo much embarrassed on public being carried over on him but he never cared... he used to hold me and ask for hug if he thinks he did hurt me.. or asks to kick him one or two punch if I'm really angry. very kind; always cheerful and so much funny friend... while we are standing at main gates to check public, he used to hold my arm and taking me in front of people saying, 'this is my friend Babu from Nepal; I'm Shlomi from Israel; he is Baha'i I'm Jews'. others used to think him 'a very crazy man' but it was his way to make fun most of the times..

I hope pray my friend (and his wife for sure) will get cured very very soon and I hope him coming back to work with equal smile the same spirit in short future...

*prayers*

A middle aged woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near death experience.

Seeing God, she asked "Is my time up?". God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live."

Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a facelift, liposuction, and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair color. Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it.

After her last operation, she was released from the hospital.

While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance.

Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 40 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?"

God replied, "I didn't recognize you."

but not, it's something special. my friend laughed badly at me when I was telling my way of doing laundry.

After taking them from dryer, I pack my clothes in my bag and leave it in the corner of room till I need clean ones. Goose, I had to spend hours to iron those wrinkled things.

but when I started doing laundry with care, it saves my time, cuts my tremendous efforts in ironing and my art of laundry reflects into my dress. isn't it an art - doing laundry?

Lord Buddha used to sleep only ONE hour per day

The Buddha's Daily Routine

The Buddha's daily routine was divided into five parts: the morning session, the afternoon session, the first watch, the middle watch the last watch.

The Morning Session (4.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon)
The Buddha would get up at 4.00 a.m. and as soon as he had had a wash would sit down to meditate for an hour. From 5.00 to 6.00 a.m. he would look around the world with his mental eye to see if anybody needed help. At 6.00 a.m. he would put on his robe and either go out and help the needy or beg for food. When on alms round the Buddha would go from house to house, eyes fixed to the ground, receiving in silence any food that was put into his bowl. Sometimes he would go begging with his disciples, who would walk behind him in single file. Often people would invite him to their houses for lunch and he would give a discourse to them and his followers.

The Afternoon Session (12.00 noon to 6.00 p.m.)
In the afternoon the monks would usually go to the Buddha to ask questions and be taught and advised. The Buddha would then retire to his room and look around the world with his mental eye to see if anyone was looking for his help. He would then go and meet people who were waiting for him. He would teach to them in such a way that everybody felt that the Buddha was teaching to each one of them separately, "giving joy to the wise, promoting the intelligence of the average people and dispelling the darkness of the dull-witted".

The First Watch (6.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.) During this time the followers would come again to the Buddha to either listen or ask questions to clarify their doubts.

The Middle Watch (10.00 p.m. to 2.00 a.m.) During this period the devas would seize the opportunity to go to see the Buddha and learn the truth of life. The Buddha, on answering their questions, would complete the middle watch of the night.

The Last Watch ( 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 a.m.) For the first hour the Buddha would walk up and down meditating and freeing himself from the discomfort of sitting all day. He then would sleep for an hour.

Thus we can see the Buddha was busy the whole day. In fact he only slept one hour each day during this 45 years of teaching. During the early hours of the day he saw the whole universe, blessed it with his boundless love and brought happiness to millions.
