Hey CLCers!

Things have been pretty busy! But the month looks very promising. I have been in touch with members of my university campus and they are excited to do a climate change workshop to help promote a greener campus. I have also been in contact with Eel Ground First Nation to set up an open forum with the First Nations youth in the community. The timing is still in the works, but it looks promising. Of course I'll be in contact with Eriel as soon as things are finalized in case she may have some pointers =). And I have things rolling on the "Change That Clicks" program the the Saint John Boys Girls Club. We have days, times, and all that fun stuff. We're doing two sessions for two age groups beginning Feb 21.

Tha only real challenge that I have found so far is getting to events. I seem to be very unlucky when it comes to this! Either I find out too late, or have a class/work at the time. Other then that, things seem to be going well =).

Guess I forgot to post a little while back... I did a climate change workshop in Miramichi, NB, right before Christmas. Despite going in with some hesitation, everything turned out well and I think everyone had fun. My next project is to do a climate change workshop at the university. I have high hopes for this one.

Hey everyone!
Just letting you know what's going on here in New Brunswick. I am in the process of planning a Climta Change Workshop in my old high school. And I am aslo trying to get two open forums in the works; one for rural youth and the other for Aboriginal youth all in the Miramichi area. I am excited and my goal is to have everuthing done by Christmas. I was also able to make a local contact, someone who I would like to do a possible workshop with in the future here in Saint John about poverty and youth, which is a problem here. Well, I guess that's it for now. I'll keep updating when I get everything finalized!
Best,
