Elections 20008

I am very optimistic about the outcome of the 2008 elections in Ghana.I have been part of various activities towards ensuring that the youth in Ghana desist from all form of activities that will bring violence during the elections. Many people are perplexed on who to vote for but i believe that others have made up their minds and are not moved by whatever happens.
Many African countries are on the edge waiting for the outcome of a country full of peace's elections and are hoping with fingers crossed that all ends well. But it is sad that others could txt to BBC Africa and wish ill for Ghana in the up coming elections."Oh Africa, when will the white man stop talking ill about us" Our own black african brothers and sisters are praying that Ghana falls into violence.
The will of the ill minded comes so long to affect his ill mind. Ghanaians have peace in their blood. They eat peace and i assure you that we will have peace during and after the elections.

Ghanaian youth need to rise

I am quiet impressed about the number of youth organisations in the country.I sometimes wonder why that many.Unfortunately,as many as they might be,the lay youth who has no idea about his role as a youth will not get any feeling of the presence of these so called youth organisations. There is the need for these youth based organisations to come out sndd create an awareness that as much as women and children are special in many ways the youth of Ghana are also very important.
Now that we are so close to elections the youth of the country need internsive education on non violence and peace.Tolerence and equality during this period is to preached.
We always almost forget that one of the most vulnerable people during war times are the youth who if do not join in the chaos will run away and get lost into the wilderness.
I therefore urge youth organisations to brighten up and show their faces to educate the youth on these important things i mentioned earlier.
I am just praying that the youth of ghana will hold their breath and hold on for a peaceful 2008 elections.Remember that the one who will pay us to go and fight will not fight therefore stays unhurt.

In recent times and times past, there have been seris of various kinds of wars.Ranging from civi to world war.
Unfortunately, a set of people are always forgotten and a nother set is always talked about. That is the women and child ren are always said to be the most affected.but what about the youth who are the main and geatest people playing an active role in the whole scandrum.
The youth widely known in every soiciety to be one of the most important asset a nation can have are destryed.
There is therefore the need that the issue of the youth is taken into consideration in times of war and some stratagies should be developed to help victims and mass education should be set out to the youth to prevent on coming ones.
