For Sustainable Development

Sounds very pleasing and inspiring, when we gossip on SD.
Let me extract some words of J.A. Eliott ::
... It will be seen that sustainable development in the future requires actions for change at all levels, adressing both the human and physical environments and through interventions in physical, political-economic and social processes ...
Adams (1990) :: ..the concept of sustainable development cannot be understood in a historical vacuum... necessary to understand the changes in thinking and practice from which the concept has developed. Of particular importance are the changes in thinking about what constitutes development and how best to achievce it, and changing ideas about the 'environment'.
We youth, in this particular issue, need to access if our each and every thinking, actions are sustainably favourable for the planet Earth? We are the part of the 'population bomb' ; its critical time to access how green we think and how we transform those thoughts into actions.
Few examples to check, have we begun ?? ::
1> replaced traditional bulbs with CFLs?
2> planted and cared some 5 trees?
3> walked some less than 5 Kms, rather than using automobiles?
4> reused the back side of 'printed and outdated non-confidential letters'?
5> ...
6> ...
This will become a BIG checklist, so as to incorporate the actions of 'two worlds :: developing and developed'.
Rest is upon us, lets transform our enthusiasm into actions ..
It is time for us to explore and understand, and find remedial steps of war by empowering youth, filling them with rejoices.
It is recommended that teachers and others use this video to initiate a discussion in the class (and elsewhere) on peace. It is a moving experience.

I hope that schools, where our children study, spend most of their time and start to expose to world environment on science, maths, culture, morale and all issues, .. is the place that we should care.
Community including parents, guardians and authorities (formal/informal) should add hands to the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.

Also, i am teaching in a school, But i'm finding difficult to gather a mass of the community on the regular meetings for the upliftment of the school and academic progress.

Also, in TIG, i'm seeking those peoples who care Schools.

Dear all,
In the context of China and its economic boom, we neighbours of China, esp. Nepalese have to feel very encouraged. Some critics regarded their major project- Lhasa railway as menace to environment and culture ofTibet.
--------- SOME EDITED SLANG FEELINGS ----------
Personally, Our country NEPAL always takes its policy of 1 CHINA.
NOW-A-DAYS some thing is going on to violating the bliss of the highland of the world. Chinese government should never allow such movements from any side to prevent violating-situation.
About NEPAL,
We are in tough days to manage our internal affairs by-self.
Nepal and given a head-start to punish some criminal activities.
We need and give; we share; with CHINA a full support to establish peace and prosperity.
We applaud China to create a prosperous Nation and similar neighbor..
But in these context, i would like to stay calm ask respective governments to find and punish the criminal activities.

Dear all,
I am involded in a school as a teacher and its global outreach co-ordinator. Now,i find my experienceas a school teacher and as an educator very satisfactory. Also i have some other visions in life. But educating children is the job that i will never stop. As they are new=peoples in this sustainably-developing world. Also we feel happy that they understand issues like environmental conservation, global friednship, culture, geography, science and all.
I want every school administration involving guardians, local and international communities in it. I personally ask the admin. for that. Now, i believe that i'm getting slowly in it. Please visit the school's website that i have mentioned in my profile.
