How come young people not wanting to go to war, to kill another man, father, someones brother, stil goes for it? Why would someone kill without knowing whom is he killing and how the fate of that man affects larger group of people behind the scenes and fields of war?
How come, we have created such a system of governing our life that wecant do anything about? How come do we Claim Democracy when there is no democracy? We are supposed to be smart species of this planet but alas, we seem to be very self-destructive.
I observe the development of my own country, of my own neighbourhood and society. My God, it is terible to imagine what we are going for. Total Mechanistic values driven by the current economic system.
I see our tradition values of sharing tie with the other, of caring, help and just a easy life - shading away. Giving way to the dominating economy that forces everyone to rush, to worry for tomorrows day, to be away from his/herself, family and always be nervous.
What is it brining?
I hear our Government officials talk of Sustainable Development, Wellbeing of the societ - meanwhile allowing IMF, WorldBank, McDonalds and othet International Corporations penetrate the lives of people and painfull shall be the consequences of all that. How to reach the ears and mind of them - I dont know.
Few become rich and they take it as an Indicator of Growth and economic stability, they Build Big palaces, Hotels and Shppoing malls - claiming we are Developing - while on the other side of the stret there are women, old women and kids siting and begging..what apicture of Growth is that? It has become soo technical....

It was just my thoughts and reflections on what is happening in my country and the typical case in many othercountries.
I hope, I strive and do my best to raise the awartness of at least very samll group of people, to share this thughts, and You, dear Reader of mine, may also think about it and give your thoguths.

here are some notes from her diary: "all my life, I though of love as some kind of voluntary enslavement. Well, thats a lie: Freedom only exists when Love is present. The person gives him or herself wholly, the person who feels freest, is the person who loves most wholeheartedly.
and the person who loves wholeheartedly feel free.
that is why, regardless of what I might experience, do or learn, nothing makes sense. I hope this time passes quickly, so that I can resume my search for myself - in the form of a man who understand me and does not make me suffer.
But what am I saying? In Love, no one can harm anyone else; we are each of us responsible for our own feelings and cannot blame someone else for what we feel.
It hurt when I lost each of the various men I fell in love with. Now, though, I am convinced that no one loses anyone, because no one owns anyone.

I think her thoughts reflect what most of us go through and think about.
I am still in search of my own answers to her questions, I am still in this state of not knowing...how can one person sitting acrros the world, effect another being that much...
"Souls of two persons meet before the Bodies Meet" - that is the way perhaps it is for me..

there are times I feel bad that I am not able to even visit the site because have not much time and possibility...
It has been a big storm and strong wind in Khujand today and it wiped off so many roofs of the houses here...that is sad...

I am sometimes talking of Tajikistan, giving you some fresh first hand news, not the ones that this Brainwashing, falls Media currently giving...There are many good things happening in Tajikistan, I see the positive development of Youth, organizing NGOs, activities, social projects and also Debates taking place in Fergana Valley..Last week I have been to the Debate Forum in Kyrgizstan, where came young people from Central Asian Countries and discussed the probelms we are facing: Multi Ethnical problems with Uzbekistan - Tajiks, border problems and role of international organizations in Fergana Valley..it has been very fruitfull and learning because we came to the solution that there is no need and use of fighting all the time provoking and increasing the anger of people. The reason for these conflicts we got is> the failure of our Politicians and Presidents not being able to peacfully talk and come to consensus and the result is People, innocent people suffering...Innocent people diyng from land mines in the border that Uzbek Goverment has put. from 2001 it is officialy registered that Uzbeks have put more than 70000 land mines in the borders of Tajikistan, having 265 people, villagers, kids and mothers killed unfairly. Why? why dow we become so Cruel? I hope very much that those young people I met during the debate will be the ones in future I or other tajiks will be dealing with, I hope this kindheartedness will remain, I hope that they understand that we are one and this world is just a Guest house where we are invitied for a while but never stay too long...

I am just Praying and creating what I beleieve is good.,

I was taking part in Communicative Interactive Method of Teaching Symposium arrange by Aga Khan Foundation..
I have met so many interesting people form my neghbour countries, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgizistan..
I felt good to learn more about these peoples lives, stories and just to get more contacts..

One of the impressing things I found was "Suleimans Mountain", Oh god, that was a real creation. it is high up in the middle of the city Osh, with its stunning view, maginficient power of silence and fresh air with bit wind blowing from all around..

why do we keep getting proud of developing and buying more weapens? isnt it crazy that we all are getting smarter in fiunding better ways of killing and destroying another beings?
for example:
Putin a president of Russian has rtecently before his election held a conference or a meeting witht eh journalist where HE: With such a Pride and Serious Voice declared that Russia for the last 15 years has increased its economy due to the Export and production of Weapons and that is a subject of his pride and asdditional score for the election. Stupid.

For how long will we all just stare at these politicians who keep forcing their own ideas and interest???

It just touched me deeply.

Hope it will change sometime soon.

After I got back from my trips I realized that people here after the "Soviet Collapse" have only got "One Day goal" of life, just to be able to survive the other day. Is it life than? Why do we have to live if just to survive? Why?
I ask these questions all and all. We have got soo many rich guys all over the world, even some of them can just feed some half of the populations of some poor countries and still have much to live on. But not many seems to be bothered about it? Why not to think that this world we will Leave with some metres of pices of cloth..that is all about it!!!
I hope that the awreness that this is just a by pass world will reach the minds and hearts of people.

Just sharing some thoughts with you guys.

Most of my time up to now I have almost spent in my country Tajikistan but quite recently the unknown and unseen flowing force of the Universe and the doors of the world opened up to me.
I grew up in a traditional family yet being always unsatisfied by the way I was behaving and living. Yet being always in search of something beyong myself and my scope of understanding. Totaly lost.
Unconsciously I was going towards something far bigger and greate I had no idea about. It was febrary 2001 when just by chance I met a Danish guy in the caffe where he was just sitting and drinking his tea. Of course as a traditional guy, I am always curious and open to any kind of talk with foreigners to learn about the world out there I didn't know about yet. I was living in the world of illusions. So this short meeting of mine with this Danish guy was a turning point in my life and the day of awakening.
By his help after he moved to my house to live I somehow foudn out myself in Europe, Denmark shortly after four months or so.
The world completely unfamiliar to a young guy brought up in former Soviet (isolated country) republic.
People around, the lifestyle and the worldview of the europians if I can say so, started to unfold to me.
I had it hard to find a balance to integrate new experiences with mine. It was like two forces inner and outer were fighting.
Luxury, material satisfaction, more growth (ecnomical), depression of majority of young people were astonishing and shocking to me. Then only then I realized what I was and what i want to be. By facing another culutre and by reflecting on that I started to value and understand what I was taught and at some poing induced.
More and more I heard a word developing cuntries or Third world. It made me in a away laugh because who determines what Is development and what are the values? I agree Europe and other Westtern countries have come a long way in their Political (Power,) economical development which they envisioned in the beginging. But Unfortuantely they seperated or degrated the inner, intrinsic Human values like, natural love not search from outside, respect for oneself and others, Joy and etc. that once existed in this culuture.
I see people wealthy, but unsatsified with the life they have. One says that Life is far more than this material growth.
Here was the point I started appreciate the beliefes and values I have learned and practiced in Tajikistan.
It is not to say one culture is better than the other it is more like sharing my thoughts with how my worldview changed to the way that I see it now. We can not seperate each other with races, posessions, geographic boundaries or whatever might come to your mind because what I learned is we are All One. And we are the Universe.
