INTRODUCTION:

Nepal being a landlocked country could take the benefit of information communication technology (ICT) as an enabling tool to reduce poverty and provide education in this flat world, the level of playing fieldhas become so flat that an individual can compete with a multinational company. It is the the time to grab this opportunity to uplift our socio-economic standing.

Potentical development in the ICT makes a distinct impact on the nation. Nepal has already entered in the e-era which needs strategic support and impetus from various sectors. A number of sectors that need fostering are e-commerce, e-governance, e-medicine, e-services, e-learning, e-rupees, e-citizen and others. We have to save time, money and effort which can be utilized for the development of the nation in the present stage of transition to build a peaceful Nepal. Fast processing mechanism, one door payment system, distancelearning, e-business help transparent administration and economic development of people.
