It is amazing how we plan so much
And attain so little when the day is gone
It is amazing how things we put so much trust in
Let us down so much
It is not for the improper set up for them
But for our overwhelming anticipation
And mountainous expectations
It is amazing how the little things we do
Impact greatly on the lives of those we touch
A kindly smile, a gentle touch, a kind word
All these daily dos that provide great healing to the soul
Forming the core healing for the wounded
A divine antidote to their deep scars

When the sun rises
It brings good tidings and refreshing moments
No matter how down and dilated the day seems
There’ll always be a reason for one to smile
A reason for the flowers to bloom
For the trees to sway
And for the birds to happily sing
Announcing the merry of the new birth
A new day, so innocent and serene
Like a new born baby
And to rejoice and give thanks to this new found treasure
The bubbles of happiness sear within the depths of our hearts
Giving us a new start every moment
A reason to laugh, to cry
To just watch the sun slowly make its way to the Far East.

This is for you, all you my friends, who because of distance and dream realization, we have been separated:I love you all.)
Pacing to and forth, humming a song and mumbling some words
A prayer, a song or a spiritual talk?
Then she started proclaiming the word of God
Telling the truth so that they may believe and be saved
“He is the way the truth and life.”
“He loves you.”
She pleaded with the passengers
Some walked out to the next car
Others complained to the conductor asking him to take action
However, his threats to throw her out
Were received by a higher voice in proclaiming the word
And the Love of Jesus
Never letting anything deter her from standing for the most High
From standing up for Jesus.
The little hope left flew away
Once again, she was not there
No messages returned, no call back, just silence
For three days in a row
Is it seeking peace in self silence?
Or dwelling in greener pastures
Is it so demanding to even just whisper a simple hallo?
There seemed to be no excuse, just hypothesis.
On the verge of giving up, she found her heart of hearts
She poured through books and novels
Passing through the words in a Novel
Her value for friendship was once questioned
Even though the care was not forthcoming
And she was taken for granted, a backup or a second wheel
She had to make a decision, to redefine the word friendship
Willing herself overboard
Above disappointment
Beyond the negligence
Over the empty space within her
She promised to stand by him
Because the bonds of true friendship were strong to ever be savored
They were meant to hold for ages
As they were meant to hold each other through the storms.
Likewise, not all our day plans fit in perfectly on schedule,
There are times we have to compromise
Throw and excuse here and there
But all we truly ought to realize is
That for every beginning, there is an end,
For every dream, there is a realization
And for every rule, there is an exception.
The only thing that holds us in line
Is the number of exceptions and sacrifices we are willing to make
And the much we are willing to dream
To see our deepest dreams come to fulfillment

The sun sent down its splendor
The Memorial Day shown beautifully
Bringing with it the cherished and most painful memories
And it was purposed to create more.
That was the day I met you
You were stunning and wore a heartwarming smile
A smile that erased all the cares away
You sounded honest, intrigued and enthusiastic about life
However, the glimmer in your eyes, that held most your captive,
Did little to fool me
There was something about your look that made me uneasy
Something that sent my cautious bells ringing
I wasn’t sure, but the trust had eluded me
Deep within, I behold this aura of uncertainty
Of your being, honor and personality
I like you, yet I don’t
I want to trust you, but I cannot
My heart of hearts desires to know you better,
Yet it holds back, patiently waiting.
Maybe you and I were never meant to happen
Maybe you have accomplished your purpose in my life
And now I won’t hold you back
Neither will I follow you
I will let you go, watch you spread your wings and soar high
To see you explore the best of you
But again I plunge myself into memories
Memories of knowing you and holding you close to me
Of the sweet laughter, long talks over the phone
Long walks on the streets
And the tears and smiles we shared
All are now memories
Until the day our destinies will entwine

You were a dear friend who filled in the gap that was empty
And now, as I go north and as you partake the south
I hope you will attain all that your heart ever desired
And if the storm ever comes
Remember the sunny days and you will mend
In my heart, I’ll hold you dear.

There are moments we always wish not to remember
Days we want to call yesterday
To be gone and forgotten forever
The days with memories we don’t want to relate with
We wish that they didn’t happen
As we try very hard to curtain the memories

Yet as always
The memories remain vivid
The images of each moment persist with sheer stubbornness
No matter how hard we try to get rid of them
No matter the number of years that pass with good tidings
As they say that time heals wounds
But they run down the drain, making each memory fresh.

This is the power of yesterday
That propels us to live today
And to see the best of the tomorrow
Though the memories will always abide in us
Though the moments will always echo in within us
We will come in term with each single one of them
And eventually cherish its holdings
Each day of our lives.

HOPE WAY BEYOND

I see their melancholic eyes
Looking longingly into a distance
They sweep across the sand, dry twigs and carcasses
Of their loved ones and their only source of hope
They pierce fiercely into the horizons
Seeking for answers of the unknown tomorrow
Asking silent questions
Of their obscured destiny

I hear them silently sob
These famine stricken survivors are straining to be heard
They are pleading for a single meal donation from the well wishers
To fill their rumbling stomachs for the moment
To enable them to at least see another sunrise
And hope to build their dreams for tomorrow

They crawl with their withered bodies through the kilometers
To their soul glimmer of hope
To the hunger camps
They want to relieve the hunger pain in their stomachs
That have gone hungry for days
Yet many of them never get a chance to get there
Because their weak bodies give way to exhaustion
And their frail hope flies away

Yet they persist
Believing in each sunrise
In a future they do not comprehend
In dreams that seem to be vain
Dreams that could be
If all people embraced humanity.

I see them fight for their lives
In the battle of life
They want to live a carefree life like children
Away from the carcass and the dusty bare land
These survivors want to hope in a tomorrow
They wish hope to see the sun rise again someday
With good tidings.
Full of love and promises of a happy future

Words alone can never express the depths of our feelings
And they cannot bring out the joy that fills our hearts sufficiently
To let us be content with a thank you
Because it runs deeper that we can fathom.

I look into your golden brown eyes
As they sparkle with a penetrating look
That unlocks the chains of my heart
And cajole it to gamble with love

As I sink deeper into the sea of their beauty
Their warmth show an unbreakable promise
They promise to love forever
They beckon me into trust
That you will be mine and I’ll be yours forever
As we sink into the miasma of love together.

And then they become crowded
With this aura of uncertainty
Of taking a gamble with your heart
They reflect the pain that could be
Of the shattered hearts that can be
If the promises were broken

But the warmth and joy they radiate
Wipe all the cares away
As you will to take the gamble
And as you take me in your arms
I am purposed that we will sail through life together
Through happiness and pain
For we now understand that true love overcomes all faults.
And there are moments when I feel
I’m letting go of what I believe in
When all seems in vain
No matter the several attempts I make

These are the times I call upon the heavens
I get down to my kneels
Calling upon the Lord
Who watches marks my steps
The Seas and oceans that I have crossed
And the storms that I have passed
And gasp at it all
A smile spreads across my lips
And my heart leaps with joy and praise
To His Majesty
Because He saw me through it all

Many are the times I almost gave up
But his sun lite my way
And when I was too weary to walk on
He lifted me and provided His cloud to cover me
When the thought of quitting crossed my mind
He reminded me that He is a winner
That He supplies abundantly to all who ask
And I smile again
For I know that I will make it through all storms in life.

The power of yesterday

There are moments we always wish not to remember
Days we want to call yesterday
To be gone and forgotten forever
The days whose memories we don’t want to associate with
We wish that they didn’t happen
As we try very hard to curtain the memories

Yet as always
The memories remain vivid
The images of each moment persist with sheer stubbornness
No matter how hard we try to get rid of them
No matter the number of years that pass with good tidings
As they say that time heals wounds
But they run down the drain, making each memory fresh.

This is the power of yesterday
That propels us to live today
And to see the best of the tomorrow
Though the memories will always abide in us
Though the moments will always echo in within us
We will come in term with each single one of them
And eventually cherish its holdings
Each day of our lives.
Everyday, I remind myself
Of this one truth--
Not all who make the days bright now
Will always be here.
On a sweet day inevitable,
The cause of Dream realisation
May take us far apart
Now it seems to me
Such day is nearer than far
But you've been my sweetest friend
Laughing through the harrowing tears.

Will I always see you?
Can I continually behold your beautiful eyes?
What about your care unparalleled?
If I walk away
And you go afar
Would our hearts go together?
Though our friendship can never sunder
I can not deny missing you already
...Even in a way beyond me.

#8220;Sometimes, my mind drifts away#8230;.and I remember you, your warm smile, your kindness, your big heart, your love. I miss you, a lot. And it#8217;s only yesterday, when I last saw you#8230;.yet it sounds like years. The few days that have gone, make me long for you#8230;.yet, they are only days, just days.
It#8217;s painful to imagine you far away and always think of you, of what you are doing, of where you are, of what you feel, everything. Swept away into memories, the love, the care, the laughter, the tears, the hugs, everything#8230;.and it#8217;s like years away#8230;yet it#8217;s only days.
Days that are tortures as I pray that God be with you. That He takes care of you, my love, holds your hand and protects your heart#8230;.a heart I believe I belong to, a heart I believe I will hold forever.
But as always, there#8217;s this aura of uncertainty that looms, envelopes my heart#8230; I trust you#8230;.yet I don#8217;t trust in you, I don#8217;t trust myself too#8230;..but one thing that remains true is that I believe in you and I love you#8230;..and I believe in your abilities with my whole heart. Within the pages of my heart, I close a secret that belongs only to me. Outside I#8217;m a confident person#8230;.and I know I am. I#8217;m sure no one can read me like a book, nobody can ever know of the uncertainty that lingers within. No one maybe one. Yet even that one I#8217;ll never get to know what I think.
(What we are!) For you with love.

Like a flowing river so is your life
And the people you meet in life.
As it flows down the channel
It creates an effect
With all it comes in contact with

It may erode the banks
Transport the load the channel
Deposit the material
Disappears before reaching the sea
But sure to rejuvenate and reach the mouth

So do the people you meet affect you
There is a time in life
When one touches your heart to deposit love
And when your heart is broken as it erodes.

A time when you feel you have to bear
Others People’s responsibilities
At times you are faced with a storm
That seems unending
When your flare faith flies away
You lose the will to move on
But the pain will give you enough inner strength
To walk through life with confidence:
Rejuvenate.
Facing each down with courage and optimism
Till the sunsets.
When you are faced with many challenges
That seems beyond your reach
You feel that you can’t conquer
Even be a match
No matter the pains you take

In this time you give in to your fears
And everything often proves in vain
Your frail hope flies away
Leaving you empty
With nothing to lean on.

Your life reaches a stalemate
Nothing you do succeeds
Because you let in to your fears.

Not until you believe to face the challenges
And let your heart hope
Then, you will conquer mountains
You never knew you could
Just by letting go off your fears
