WHY ABSTAIN? THE INTELLECTUAL PERSPECTIVE:

You have been told that abstinence works all the time, yes it does! But you ask how? You have also heard from several sources, and very prominent global figures that abstinence is not practical, and you have perhaps believed.
Let me make it known that many of these who campaign against abstinence have families and came from families, but have you tried to look at the type of families they have? And how successful or happy they are? Recently Former US president Bill Clinton said, "The evidence is that abstinence-only programs are ultimately unsuccessful," "Abstinence-only is an error." He added. But what did you expect him to say when he had a sexual affair in late 1997 with Monica Lewinsky? According to website http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/1998/resources/lewinsky/timeline/ he went and confessed to a national TV on 17th.aug/1998 that he had an inappropriate relationship with Monica Lewinsky. These are the people determined to use young unmarried ladies, so the support of abstinence only does not fit him. If you think this was political, why did he confess so, and why is Bush, who is not liked because of his policies not scandalized.

Many others, the condom supporters are from the western world, the industries that make condoms are in their countries and marketing these condoms here gives them market and employment, so do you think they will ever say anything against what they are earning from? No! Except they love people! They make you risk your life on mere rubber that can break anytime, for them to earn.

You have also heard that abstinence is not practical, that it is natural for you to go sleeping around; they say you cannot avoid it and they stigmatize those who are sober and are waiting. You should know that you are not chicken or goats that cannot control themselves, you were created uniquely from all these animals and birds; you need to behave different as you are meant to be. Have you forgotten that your fore fathers grew up clean, and it was an abomination if a girl was married off and then discovered she was not a virgin, do you know the honor this carried? But today you are deceived.

Others tell you that you need to practice, you however know very well that no body is perfect, and if nobody is why practice, why allow the lie? If you think you need to practice, who taught Adam and Eve in their first sexual encounter? And who teaches the young kids, who when left to play alone, end up tying out the same thing?

You need to come to an understanding that sex is beautiful and pleasurable, designed to be enjoyed maximally in the context of marriage.

Ever since the sex revolution of the 1960s, our minds have continuously been colonized by Hollywood that show us that, to sleep around is the in thing, it is also amazing that today major HIV/AIDS conferences have turned out to be Hollywood movies and attacking and criticizing people who are making differences in the AIDS world, and ignoring significant successes like the Ugandan story.

Let me tell you the reason why you should abstain. If you love your country, your family, your future family, your future wife, and your future children, there is a need to identify yourself with abstinence; the effects of not are grave.

Every body know that the highest percentage of divorces, have a string attached to cheating and one partner or both being unfaithful. You also know that the biggest cause of domestic violence is cheating, and I bet no one wants to be cheated on.

Abstinence means being faithful to yourself, and failure to be faithful now, means you will not be able to be faithful in future, unless otherwise you ask for a renewal of the mind from God who is the only one with the spare parts for your body and life.

The cheating theory comes about as, somebody is not faithful to himself or herself, they go messing up, and each sexual encounter they experience, leaves a strong memory in their minds. Each time you go back to the same thing, it acts like a password and invokes the full memory, [don’t forget your brain works better than a computer, but you can use it as a classic example to know].

When married, the time you get to make love to your partner will invoke all the memories of your first sexual encounter. This will hinder the process of love making and consequently lead to less or no sexual satisfaction.
At this stage, one will desire, because it is natural to look for satisfaction, they will desire for satisfaction. This will lead to cheating. Have you ever wondered why a man with three wives goes on to sleep with a neighbors’ wife? It is the longing for satisfaction.
This will continue to go on, because the partner is not satisfied at home, he will never be satisfied again, only until God intervenes.

This cycle goes on and sooner or later the other partner will know of it, STDs, and HIV/AIDS will be invited in the home, family breakage and divorce will be peeping in, and children risen out of a broken family will be the result.

It is universally acknowledged that a family is the basic unit of a nation, now if a family is in such conditions, how successful will that country be. This shall not only affect the children and future citizens of their country but it will affect the labor force, as mothers and fathers move to jobs when they are stressed and disgruntled, this means an unhealthy state in them and so effectiveness will be reduced and grossly affected.
The country’s economy shall soon crumble, just look at this, china has sine of recent a preserved culture where virginity and sexual purity was highly honored, and they will soon become world powers, economically, which will soon be followed by political power, because the economic substructure determines the political superstructure. And America, unless it does change completely, but with the growing number of divorces, [in 1997, out of the 59% of married couples, 43% was likely to divorce] the America is falling off its pinnacle.

Just imagine how many people have been murdered, because they were caught cheating, how many ladies [campusers] were poured on acid, how many children are orphaned due to HIV/AIDS, that was a result of wrong decisions of their parents, how many children are on streets, and have nothing to survive on because of this unfaithfulness while in your young ages.

It is unfortunate that condoms, that have been supported and rallied for, do not protect your heart and do not protect you from the storage of the memory of your sexual encounter that leads to dissatisfaction and cheating. You may be told now to use condoms, but sexual relations are not an issue of HIV/AIDS or pregnancy alone, it is about your future, and the future of your children.

We have an opportunity in crisis, we can do it, it is our generation as young people who can decide to be cycle breakers or allow this to go on. We must do something. It is our corporate responsibility to keep abstinent and faithful and pass on this message to others, if we need our countries to develop, and if we need to have great families.

AIDS PANDERERS

AIDS panderers: Ted Byfield drubs Bill Clinton, et al. for Bush bashing at global confab

Twenty-four thousand AIDS fighters gathered in Toronto this week for the 16 International AIDS Conference, but judging from the news coverage, it was hard to tell whether they were there to eradicate AIDS or to eradicate George W. Bush.
The conference opened with a round of fulsome tribute. Ontario's former socialist leader Stephen Lewis, now U.N. special envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa, paid fulsome tribute to AIDS crusader Bill Gates, who paid fulsome tribute to AIDS crusader Bill Clinton, who paid fulsome tribute to Stephen Lewis for paying fulsome tribute to Bill Gates.
When actor Richard Gere became another celebrity speaker, it was too much for some frontline AIDS workers. "This conference has been more of a Hollywood conference for philanthropists and stars than for people who are living with AIDS," said Sipho Mthathi, head of a South African treatment group, in an impromptu address.
There was no sign of dissent, however, from the castigation heaped on President Bush's five-year $15-billion "Pepfar" program (President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief), which advocates an "ABC" battle against AIDS – Abstinence from sex outside marriage, first; be faithful to your spouse, second; use Condoms, third – with the requirement that at least 33 percent of the spending be used to advocate abstinence.
Abstinence and marital fidelity were roundly denounced as American "ideology." Thundered Lewis: "No government in the Western world has the right to dictate policy to African governments around the way in which they structure their response to this pandemic."
"Abstinence is not often an option for poor women and girls who have no choice but to marry at an early age," declared Gates. When he commended the success of Uganda in defeating AIDS chiefly through an abstinence campaign, he was greeted with boos and hisses. The Uganda success was thereafter carefully ignored.
Gates' wife, Melinda, blamed those who declare the use of condoms "immoral or ineffective or both" – i.e., the Bush government and the Christian churches – for "creating a serious obstacle for ending AIDS."
Clinton went further, condemning the Bush government for backing "abstinence," which, he said, doesn't work, and calling for the mass circumcision of African males, which might.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper's "failure" to show up was loudly razzed. Not that he had ever said he would. Apparently, he had concluded that standing in front of 24,000 people to be hissed, jeered and booed would not be politically advantageous for himself and do nothing whatever for the victims of AIDS.
Meanwhile, a few dissenting voices appeared in the Toronto media. Columnist Margaret Wente in the liberal Globe Mail called it "the big AIDS circus," chiding its ceaseless politicking: "If I have to hear Saint Stephen Lewis hectoring us with his apocalyptic rhetoric one more time, I think I'll choke."
Michael Fumento of the Hudson Institute, writing in the National Post, spelled out some home truths, such as: First: AIDS peaked in Canada 13 years ago; only 272 cases were diagnosed last year. By contrast, 137,000 Canadians were diagnosed with cancer, about 19,000 with breast cancer. Second: 38 percent of the new cases in Canada were homosexual males; drug users 17 percent; the homosexual proportion is rising. Third: As for "apocalyptic rhetoric," back in the late '80s, one Uganda official predicted his nation "will be a desert" in two years; its population has in fact doubled. In 1998, the U.N. reported 12 percent of Rwandans 15-49 infected, while another agency said 30 percent; it turned out to be 3 percent. Fourth: The present AIDS budget "swamps" spending on malaria and tuberculosis in Africa, which kill twice as many people.
The Catholic Church is deplored by the "AIDS community," wrote columnist Father Raymond J. de Souza, largely because it opposes condoms. He could not see, however, how "those who reject the church's teaching on chastity and moral fidelity blanche from using condoms because of Catholic teaching." Twenty-five percent of the institutions worldwide that treat people for AIDS, he added, are Catholic.
Thus, in terms of its public profile, the conference was far more political than medical. One effect of this was to make victims of the disease implicit partisans in a political controversy that has nothing to do with disease control and a great deal to do with religion. If you really want to help these poor people, you must be a Democrat in the U.S. or a Liberal in Canada, and regard abstaining from sex outside marriage and being loyal to a spouse as an absurdity. Such was the message. How this would "help" the victims was not altogether clear.
