one of the members stories that caught my attention is of a female named Duncan who is from South Africa. Her story is mainly about her helping young people. Duncan made a satement about young people saying "Young people are always associated with negative things like crime, high prevalence of AIDS and so on. Since I've become aware of this issue, I feel that it is my responsibility, as a young person, to change that, to inspire other young people to be role models and to do their best to make a difference in the lives of others and their community. I want to be part of the solution and become an asset in this world."
This statement is very interesting to me because i also feel that i must try and change the worlds view about our youths. i also have never met anyone from South Africa.
