AT DIFFERENT WIRELESS NETWORKS

This paper was accepted by the Committee of ICECE-2006 in BUET and it was presented in the International Conference at Hotel Sonargaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh on19 - 21st December, 2006. (Link: http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/freeabs_all.jsp?arnumber=4178496 ).
ABSTRACT
This paper delves into the handover latency at different wireless networks (i.e. WLAN, WMAN,
WWAN) with conspicuous amalgamation of ideas in line with the MIPv6. This analytical handover
latency study compares the handover latency of different individual and combined approaches within the framework of MIPv6. Upon exploring the salient facts from the study, we have pictorially delineated the latency delay-time at the above different wireless networks through simulation results.
