                    <title>"A Story to Tell:" An Initiative for Youth at AIDS 2006</title>

                    <description><![CDATA[“A Story to Tell” is an initiative that provides a voice to youth around the<br />
world who are affected by HIV and AIDS by documenting its impact through<br />
their eyes. Its aim is to give youth the opportunity to promote the issues<br />
surrounding HIV/AIDS to the rest of the world.<br />
<br />
What are we looking for?<br />
Seven youth delegates who are attending the XVI International AIDS<br />
Conference that are willing to commit a minimum of 2 hours per month, for<br />
one year. <br />
<br />
What’s in it for you?<br />
You will learn how to be a field journalist during the 2006 AIDS Conference<br />
and work with a great international team that will provide feedback on each<br />
of your stories throughout the year. The stories will be featured as videos<br />
on a website along with educational curriculum for students and educators to<br />
be used in numerous countries.<br />
<br />
What is the selection criteria?<br />
- Affiliation with a UNESCO school and / or an international<br />
non-governmental organization<br />
- A minimum of English or French as a second language<br />
-Established involvement in local, regional, or national HIV-AIDS related<br />
issues.<br />
<br />
How to apply? <br />
Send an email with your contact information and a 200-word description<br />
explaining what skills or assets you could bring to this project. No<br />
previous experience is required. Candidates will be selected and contacted<br />
over the next few weeks.<br />

Please note: Candidates will not receive funding or scholarships.<br />
