Hey Everyone
Haven’t updated in some time now. Two days ago I was given the news that Marlon Brando, one of my favorite actors had passed away at the age of 80. I don't know if many people on tig are familiar with his work but he was a genius when it came to acting. Movies like "A Streetcar Named Desire," "On the waterfront," "Apocalypse now," and "The Godfather" depict how far brando's talent reached. So I just wanted to salute a great screen legend and leave ya with a quote from his book "Songs my mother taught me" that displays his feelings about life and death.

"There isn't any end to this story, I'd be happy to tell it to you if I knew it. Just as i cannot imagine where i was before I sat under that elm tree at the end of Thirty-second Street with my hand stretched wide for those magical pods, so I continue to be an enigma to myself in a world that still bewilders me. While life itself remains incomprehensible, there is no point in wondering where I will be in the "never-to-be-known after-time," but I am certain that when my breathing comes to an end, the change will find me no more astonished than I was back on Thirty -second Street.
My mind is always soothed when I imagine myself sitting on my own South Sea island at night in a gentle chiffon wind, with my mouth open and my head way back, watching those twinkling points of light, waiting for that eerie, silent streak to spread across the black sky and stun me again. I don't stretch my hand out anymore, but I never get tired of waiting for the next magic."
- M.Brando (1924 - 2004)

Well I must go watch Greece hopefully defeat Portugal, just thought I’d share with you all.

Audrey's lesson

Below is a wonderful poem Audrey Hepburn wrote when asked to share her "beauty tips".

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.

For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed,revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

I'm glad one person in hollywood realized that beauty does not have to be about that amount of make up you drown your face in every morning.

I LOVE THIS BAR!!
We got winners; we got losers;
Chain smokers and boozers.
An' we got yuppies; we got bikers;
An' we got, thirsty hitchhikers.
And the girls next door dress up like movie stars:
Mm, mm, mmm, mmm, mmm, I love this bar.
We got cowboys; we got truckers;
Broken hearted fools and suckers.
An' we got husslers; we got fighters;
Early birds and all nighters.
And the veterans talk about their battle scars:
Mm, mm, mmm, mmm, mmm, I love this bar.

I love this bar,
It's my kind place.
Just walk in through the front door,
Puts a big smile on my face.
It ain't too far; come as you are.
Mm, mm, mmm, mmm, mmm, I love this bar.

I've seen short skirts; we've got high-techs;
Blue collar boys and rednecks.
An' we got lovers; lots of lookers;
I've even seen dancin' girls and hookers.
And we like to drink our beer from a mason jar:
Mm, mm, mmm, mmm, mmm, I love this bar, yes I do!

I like my truck, (I like my truck),
An' I like my girlfriend, (I like my girlfriend),
I like to take her out to dinner;
I like a movie now and then:

But I love this bar,
It's my kind place.
Just toeing around the dance floor,
Puts a big smile on my face.
No cover charge; come as you are.
Mm, mm, mmm, mmm, mmm, I love this bar.
Mm, mm, mmm, mmm, mmm, I just love this ol' bar.

I was reading about cloning in the paper not to long ago, and it made it clear to me that mother nature is becoming more and more like the backstreet boys (old news).

One reason given as a pro for cloning to take place..is saving the life of a loved one..if the situation occurs. I agree with helping people that is why we have blood doners and transplants. What I don't agree with is bringing more people in to this some what poverty sticken world without helping the millions that are in need.

I mean you see all these children looking for sponsors, orphans, the homeless. The thing is cloning is a pro and a con in itself...I can't really decide if im entirely for it or not...some other suggestions are to use cloning for agriculture..u know crops and stuff. A lot more people need food theres a good thing...but bringing life i mean of the human kind into this already hunger, poverty, diseased filled world is just beyond wrong to me..that is.

What are your thoughts on the issue of cloning?

Before I get to the actual reason for this update i just have to say. ENGLAND 4EVER!!!..The cup is coming home :D

My science teacher brought up the subject of abortion today. Got me thinking I honestly can say that I really would not shun anyone for having an abortion.

It seems that most ppl that have abortions..are young teens that cant care for the baby. Realisticly..why bring someone into this already currupt world and have them face living with one parent..who isent even old enough to get their licence? ...then there is the issue of adoption and there is always a piece of u missing wondering where they are ...and vise versa..

i jus think that ppl should not be frowned upon and be called murderers for it.

Money can't bring happiness?

Recently I was talking to one of my friends mother..who had been a real hippy "back in the day." She told me that she beleived that money can't bring u happiness.

I don't wanna sound like a shallow fool...but I beg to differ. I think that the world runs on money..this in itself has a major affect on how we feel.

Take for instance happiness could be you being settled. How can you put your self under a roof along with your family without the "bling bling"?

As far as love in concerned I'm sure that people do fall in love just because they are in love. Although I think the majority of us would rather be assured that who we are with are "set" as far as money. That plays a part in who we pic to spend out lives with right?

So I do think money = happiness, reassurance
and at some points..it can back fire..but overall it is a good thing.

It has come to my attention lately that more and more events and complaints about priests whom take advantage of the children whom they care for...(meaning teach, prey with, etc)

I had recently been sent a forward that asked u to state your opinion on the matter...i didn't know much about it so i didn't reply.

Some ppl claimed that it was just that most priests were homosexual..so they took out what the church saw as a sin on the young boys they tended to. That is just a bunch of bullshit. Even if you are homosexual..as a server of god...u do not push that kinda evil onto an innocent child.

Most people find that religion and god is something to get hope from. How the hell do you find hope when relgion is being used as a reason for someone to take advantage of you.

This has really changed my opinion on the church...those ppl are sick and anyone that trys to cover up the faults of the church are disgusting. A place to worship and work for god..but where satin practises.
what do you all think about it?

I was watching The View on tv and a story about a lesbian couple..that wanted to have a baby was on. So they got a sperm doner who was deaf, this is because they are deaf. They say that they would like their child to be born deaf because they are...and because it is in their culture.

This in my opinion is wrong beyong words. I have no problem with their culture as human beings they should be able to choose what they want. The only thing is that is what they want...a child can not chose whether they want to be deaf or not. I think the parents are being ignorent...Not letting a child be born..with one function...when they can be...is robbing them.

I know that there are many deaf communities, but I still disagree with this couples desision...they are robbing this child.

Last update for a lil while
My grandmother voluntarily said that she would make some clothes for new born babies to a hospital in putha parthi (sorry if my spelling is wrong)a place in india..So me and my older sister offered to help her..on the dresses the hospital requested simple pictures..so we drew flowers, fish etc. I thought that this is so nice of my grandmother to do...

Then as we were putting the pictures on the dresses with fabric paint and pen..she told us that the hospital had complained about where the picture would go. That was a little frustrating...because my grand mother was doing this out of the kindness of her heart and they tell her that where she was putting the picture was wrong...which means do it again.

It's like maybe you should cut back on the bunch of movies you make each year and give some of the money to your infants. I hate when people complain when someone is doing something that they don't have to do...but do it because they feel they should.
(no offence to anyone from india)

Cyber....losers

Yesturday I had been asked by a friend to go to www.teenchatworld.com...so I go, little do I know that I was about to be introduced to the most disgusting ppl I have ever met. Before I get into this story I would like to say this has probably happened in every chat I go into.

So we go in and I dunno why but I just sat there and watched the discussion go from pg13 to an X rated convo...in a mere 3 secs.

This leads me to the main reason for this update...do you guys notice how the net can bring out things in some people that you would never think something could do. These people all seemed to be trained with the dialect of strippers on gerard street (those of you not aware of this street, a lot of strippers do business there)and the vocabulairy of aspiring pimps

I just can't seem to grasp...how sad and pathetic some people are in the world. IT honestly sickened me to know that was out there...even more scarier to think this might be being said in the cyber world...but they all live in the real world.
..shame....

Kabalarian Philosophy

I found this site that gives a description of "what's in your name"

Go to this site - http://www.kabalarians.com/gkh/your.htm#links
scroll down to the bottom and click on either male or female names..then the letter that is at the beginning of your name. After that you find your name in a list...and it gives you the info

Tell me what you all think of this one.

This is what it gave me

Your first name of Arabhi has given you a sociable, kind, and thoughtful nature. Your sensitivity and sympathy to the needs of people causes difficulty when you need to be individual and maintain control over your feelings. You can be easily hurt and emotionally upset and, because you become so closely involved with people, you can be unduly influenced by them, sometimes against your better judgment. You are inclined to put things off until forced to take action. You accomplish more working with people who encourage and inspire you, and particularly those who can give you confidence by laying out a step-by-step pattern for you. You do not take life too seriously, because you tend to live for the day. It is not typical of you to plan ahead, to think of the consequences of your actions, and to set meaningful objectives in your life. You are more likely to drift into experiences, benefitting from social contact and the attractiveness of your personality. You have felt insecure in learning and adapting to new things, and have struggled with lack of concentration and persistence to make a success of your efforts. In the health, you would experience skin conditions because of a rich diet, and also fluid problems affecting the glandular system and kidneys.

mines all mostly true...urmm accept the part about the kidneys *falls over* lets hope that don't come true.

Just watched a great movie...Black Hawk Down. this would be an excellent one to watch because it displays both sides of the story. It isen't one of those movies that has a foundation mainly built on american egotism. Although this is based on a failed american mission it didn't try to cover up the fact that america was beaten by putting in an extra story line showing something horrible about the opposing country. It showed you the suffering that both america and samalia went through.

If any of you have seen it....whaddya think?
