Ce te inspira pe tine?

Inspiration is a very serious issue and is what is affecting many of our societies, particularly my country Jamaica. I really don’t know what my inspiration is.... I try my best to be inspired by anything positive as well as learn from those who’ve made mistakes. A lot of my inspiration comes from within. If you allow yourself to be at all times inspired by someone you will find yourself becoming more and more dependent. Society is an influence as well as friends. One of my greatest inspirations now is being involved; whenever I am not, I find that I am not what I ought to be. Childnet International Academy along with Cable & Wireless Jamaica as well as the Go-Local Jamaica have helped me to become really involved which is what I am grateful for as it is important to be ACTIVE.

Spune-ne despre o problema care conteaza pentru tine si cum ai devenit constient si implicat in ea.

Though many people might believe that Jamaica is an awesome tourist destination and that we are wonderful people we really aren’t. We as Jamaicans tend to adopt this negative outlook on life in Jamaica, hence the situation we are in now where it seems that no one has a clue what our morals are. We have lost the very thing about us that makes us human. We tend the blame the government and private sector for every thing that happens when we all are really the fault for why we are in such a situation today. I became aware because it is happening all around us; it’s in the news, it’s everywhere. I became involved because I am a Jamaican citizen; I am a 'yardie' hence I try to maintain that positive outlook of being Jamaican; of being black. We leave Jamaica and we pretend that we are in a bed of roses when we really aren’t. We go and suffer more than we were in Jamaica hence our kids take our perspective and believe "nutten nah gwan."

Impartaseste-ne perspectivele tale despre ce trebuie sa aiba un bun lider.

There is some cliché that a good leader is someone who is hard to find. A good leader is able to identify in himself his faults, accepts when he's wrong and takes recommendations. A good leader is one who wants the best for himself and his group and not to be placed on a pedestal, but to carryout his given duty with great pride and humbleness. A good leader is uncommon. A good leader is charismatic yet at the same time democratic and possesses the ability to use all leadership styles where necessary.

Do you think TakingITGlobal can help you achieve some of your goals? Have we already? Please tell us how.

TakingITGlobal has been facilitating young people with the resource they need to help build a bright future. Joining TIG can be difficult because you join without knowing how to use the site. (Hence I believe TIG should have a Tour Guide of the site. Yes, a very crazy idea.) But TIG is everything that I could have ever wanted and I believe that I speak for all users and guest that TIG is number one. You ought to be commended. However, if there could be some way in which TIG provide funding assistance especially to young people in developing countries where we would like to attend conferences and make our voices be heard, where it is very difficult to get assistance -- TIG should step in and start generating some funds for themselves. That’s the only addition you need now.
