O que inspira você?
Early in March, 2008 as I was searching for organizations and sites working work on issues related to youth development and MDGs, it was an inspiration to find TakingITGlobal, and on surfing more I found that someone from my state (Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, though we never met early) is right here on TIG. We mailed each other and subsequently connected one on one.

As potential leaders, young people need to be developed in all sectors. However, Youth Development and ICT is one of my priority themes. This is broadening to cover the MDGs which I see as a master plan to achieving global sustainability. The systems of things now in diverse societies differ from what had been in the past centuries, thus, its pertinent that young people groom themselves to tackle the more responsibilities ahead. ICT, as one of the most potent forces driving the way young people work, live and learn, is one of the avenues to achieve the feat of youth development.

On my own perspective, I believe everyone is a leader. This is because leadership begins in our homes – that’s where we exhibit leadership qualities; care, tolerance, openness, etc. Every leader should be able to live a positive and exemplary life. As young people and leaders, it is bound on us to impact our communities positively starting at youthful age. This calls for evaluation on youth to see how what we have individually or collectively done, which have created assenting impacts on our communities.

TIG is a platform that has made my visibility easier and wider. You won't do away without the abounding resources provided by TIG – Networking, Sharing of Resources, ICT, Entrepreneurship, Leadership… name them.
