I am very much inspired by the the potential that l have soon realized in me. It took me quite a lot of time to realize that l can sing, make good art (drawings) due to the absence of adequate knowledge and resources. When l was in my lower grades of Education l could not dream of leading anyone nor prospering in life due to the way l used to fail at school. The late 17th-century core of this historic town, founded by the French and occupied by the Dutch before coming under Portuguese rule, has preserved the original rectangular street plan in its entirety. Thanks to a period of economic stagnation in the early 20th century, an exceptional number of fine historic buildings have survived, making this an outstanding example of an Iberian colonial town.
