I want to see the nations of the OECD bring their levels of aid to 0.7% of GNI. I really believe that poverty is an issue that could be drastically affected in our lifetimes and I am determined to see some key changes made. The Make Poverty History campaign is hitting countries all over the world and making 'ordinary citizens' aware of the real issues faced by one in five people on this planet. The Ichkeul lake and wetland are a major stopover point for hundreds of thousands of migrating birds, such as ducks, geese, storks and pink flamingoes, who come to feed and nest there. Ichkeul is the last remaining lake in a chain that once extended across North Africa.
