A good leader does not dominate nor dictate. A good leader produces other leaders, not followers. A good leader should understand the importance of service. Leaders are supposed to serve, but many people do not understand this. Nelson Mandela epitomizes the ideal serving leader as he served his native peoples to fight for human rights. What matters to me most is awareness. I find that most people do not take responsibility for the things that happen to them because some people, for no apparent reason, don’t make the connection between their actions and the consequences for those actions. Yet I believe that if you show people (by example) to take responsibility for their actions, they will in turn learn how to make every action count towards achieving their goals.
