The issue that matters to me most right now is Global Warming. I first learned about global warming in my humanities class where I learned about the melting of polar ice caps and glaciers due to rising temperatures on earth. I have also learned that using more sustainable practices such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power can greatly reduce the amount of pollution that is produced in our environment. What matters to me most is awareness. I find that most people do not take responsibility for the things that happen to them because some people, for no apparent reason, don’t make the connection between their actions and the consequences for those actions. Yet I believe that if you show people (by example) to take responsibility for their actions, they will in turn learn how to make every action count towards achieving their goals.
