I became involved in this area (rights of girls, women) when I last travelled into some rural areas in Enugu state where there has never been electricity since the world began exept for rich men living in towns who come home, once in 10 years and buy a generator set. I saw the pains and the mosquitos as well as manutrition, sickness and stunted growth. After due consideration I decided to champion a public opinion in their favour and help them get out of the pain.

I get my inspiration from the international youth meetings I occasionally participate in. Seeing the energy and passion of people from so many countries and learning that they have similar issues to struggle with as people in my country gives me hope and the sense of belonging.
Also, my favourite author, Erica Jong, has inspired me for many years because her bold books help me grow and learn about life. ( read more)

Je suis inspiré par la dignite que transpire les hommes dans la misere. Ils sont fiers les citoyens qui n'ont ni nourriture, ni couverture, ni voiture, ils sont fiers d'être des hommes. Je suis aussi inspiré par l'indecence des hommes qui possèdent le pouvoir de corriger certaines choses mais qui ne le font pas parce qu'ils oublient ou ignorent ce que cela veut dire avoir faim ou avoir soif. Surrounded by two arms of the River Ill, the Grande Ile (Big Island) is the historic centre of the Alsatian capital. It has an outstanding complex of monuments within a fairly small area. The cathedral, the four ancient churches and the Palais Rohan – former residence of the prince-bishops – far from appearing as isolated monuments, form a district that is characteristic of a medieval town and illustrates Strasbourg's evolution from the 15th to the 18th century.
