The issue I have the most concern for is the lives of youth in post-war Liberia in particular I am concerned about finding a solution to many of the problems these youth face today and into the future. It is no secret that Liberia has gone through a devastating fourteen years of armed conflict, which took the lives of thousands of people. The ruins of many successive civilizations are found at Byblos, one of the oldest Phoenician cities. Inhabited since Neolithic times, it has been closely linked to the legends and history of the Mediterranean region for thousands of years. Byblos is also directly associated with the history and diffusion of the Phoenician alphabet.
