Being born and raised in Kenya, culture and the study of humanity has always been my inspiration. My beautiful country of Kenya has a diverse and unique set of cultural values and a heritage drawn from 42 ethnic groups. This has inspired me to think beyond Kenya and Africa, anthropology with its origins in the natural sciences, the humanities, and the social sciences has given me a global picture. The issue that matters to me most is development. I am from a very poor community where only some have the opportunity to go to school and others are left with no direction. Yet, I was fortunate enough to attend University and after the completion of my studies I immediately started to create my own development projects. Je suis inspirée par la violation massive des droits de l'enfant et de la femme caractérisée par diverses formes de violences ( la traite , l'exploitation sexuelle et économiques, le travail des enfants, la non scolarisation, l'absence de soins de santé , la violence faite aux femmes, les OEV, le VIH/SIDA)
