I have been a friend, companion and sister to many young people who are silenced by all sorts of trauma in different levels. I am really into peer-counselling. This means I have to be the 'voice' of reason to someone who feels trapped and sees no escape. This also means that as a young person myself, I have to lead by example and practice what I preach. There are a lot of issues that i come across everyday: teenage pregnancy, suicide, domestic abuse, substance abuse and more. ( lire plus...)

There is so much that has enriched my life, in spite of the Liberian civil crisis.
As a child, I should have been watching television; I should have been in school learning biology to understand how cells developed and how they die, sociology to know how social factors alter our behaviors or psychology to understand how war affected perceptions but the war taught me the opposite of what I wanted to learn. I wanted to learn peace, fellowship, and good deeds. I ended up in restaurants seeking... ( lire plus...)

I am inspired by passionate enthusiasm, and by optimism (nice generic answers, I know). I'm also very inspired when I see people speak out about things that matter to them, and speak up when they see wrong doings in the world. The prospect of travel inspires me, as do children, especially children that are already survivors in one way or another. ( lire plus...)
