HIV/AIDS is an issue that I have at heart, and I became aware and involved at the age of 16, volunteering with youth organizations that support people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA’s). I worked in many areas of peer education and counseling. I started experiencing what partnership means, and how important this is with HIV/AIDS. My inspiration is derived mainly from the written literature most especially the bible and some books written by renown African writers like John Ruganda and Chinuea Acheabe. This is because they give me a desire to move on and always think positively and not to accept others make decisions for me and always be my self but not to do anything to please others but rather that will benefit me, make me happy without interfering the with those around me.
