Students are constantly being bombarded with IT in their lives. They come to school as digital natives and we are their immigrants. We need to teach and learn using these tools, as they are using them anyway. We need to guide them through this shift in education, or we will have a group of unmotivated, disengaged youth. What matters to me most is the issue of youth awareness and development in various areas. Specifically, I am concerned with youth involvement in generating new ideas, goods, services, and practices in their community that are both useful and sustainable. Without the development of new ideas and practices, youth can not seize the opportunity to live out their potential beyond simply surviving day to day. ( lire plus...)
