As food, water and air are required for survival; inspiration, motivation and the nonstop struggle of life signifies a person’s self-growth and achievement. The main source of inspiration for me has always been the “change makers,” those, especially youth, who work outside their comfort zone to resolve youth issues and empower other youth.

There is so much that has enriched my life, in spite of the Liberian civil crisis.
As a child, I should have been watching television; I should have been in school learning biology to understand how cells developed and how they die, sociology to know how social factors alter our behaviors or psychology to understand how war affected perceptions but the war taught me the opposite of what I wanted to learn. Life inspires me, the fact that I can wake up every day and breathe meaning I have the power for that day to do something that will have a positive impact on society at large.
