The issues that matter to me most are good governance, youth, and information technology given that they have had an immense impact on poverty eradication initiatives all over the world. I have been involved in these issues first-hand by standing up and challenging my community and sensitizing other youth to these issues in hopes that they in turn will be activated to change. What inspires me most is seeing young people engage themselves in activities which are channeled towards the development of self and the community. I feel inspired when I see young people build up values for themselves. What matters to me most is awareness. I find that most people do not take responsibility for the things that happen to them because some people, for no apparent reason, don’t make the connection between their actions and the consequences for those actions. Yet I believe that if you show people (by example) to take responsibility for their actions, they will in turn learn how to make every action count towards achieving their goals.
