Being born and raised in Kenya, culture and the study of humanity has always been my inspiration. My beautiful country of Kenya has a diverse and unique set of cultural values and a heritage drawn from 42 ethnic groups. This has inspired me to think beyond Kenya and Africa, anthropology with its origins in the natural sciences, the humanities, and the social sciences has given me a global picture. I often find myself closely examining the actions of others; more specifically, I pay closer attention to the traits and habits I wish to adopt in my own life, which in turn will make me a better person.
