I'm inspired by the amount of strength, persistence, and resistance that people have despite what they are up against. There are many stories of resistance to colonialism but resistance to me means treating each other well and not being afraid to challenge the ways of thinking that divide us e.g. challenging racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism etc. I believe that as people we can move a lot farther ahead if we change the linear ways of thinking that work to divide us and we must see how we... I get encouraged when I meet or read about young people who try to be better at what they lay their hands on.
I get touched when I see/read about young people with great visions and dreams. Especially those that aspire to become a voice unto our generation.
