An important issue that matters to me is violence against women and girls. There is a great need for young people to begin to participate in development processes; but widespread ignorance on critical issues, such as budgeting, can hinder the development process. Another issue that matters to me is the gap between youth and policy makers, but building a bridge between this gap will remain elusive as long as youth remain ignorant on the policy issues that affect all of us. After reading the book, "The Irresistible Revolution" by Shane Claiborne, I discovered that world peace is possible but it requires us to change the way we live our lives, the way we take in our surroundings, and the way we experience the world around us. La fuite des intellectuels africains face à leurs responsabilités. C'est vrai, ils le disent d'ailleurs, ça ne va pas en Afrique. Mais, faut-il lâcher bride et croiser les bras? Assurément non!
