I am passionate about issues which deal with youth empowerment. Many young people today lack empowerment and without it societies will not be able to grow to its fullest potential. I became aware of this issue while counseling young people. I loved listening to what they had to say and I also enjoyed giving them my point of view, at the same time letting them know it was just my opinion. A smile that comes straight from the heart. Yes, the joy that i see among orphan children who are either infected or affected with HIV/AIDS or with disability. They inspire me a lot. Having seen them and spent enough time to understand their psychology....at times my reasoning comes to a halt. Despite having to deal with so much, they taught me to see the beauty of life. I believe TakingITGlobal can help me achieve my goals. Where else could I find a youth-based international network to well...network with? TIG is also an amazing place to plan and implement projects, get inspired, or even to just get a small push in the right direction.
