An issue that matters to me is [youth] leadership. As I observed the leadership pursuits of my peers, I saw how easily good intentioned-leaders became corrupted leaders, and how charismatic leaders became narcissistic. Some leaders that I admire in history are Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and Nelson Mandela who not only voiced the many injustices against people of African descent, but who also called for equality for all. My inspiration has always been the wonderful young ladies and gentlemen I see on TIG who are making our world a better place. I believe that we can have a better world if this crop of youth activists continue to think about the world the way they are doing now.
