I want to see young adults making an impact in their world. I like to challenge young people to be more aware of the issues that affect them and using appriopriate advocacy skills to seek a change in policies, culture and traditions that help perpetuate these issues. To me, TIG is a place for us to share information and ideas, to raise our voice and get involved in the world's issues. In other words, it acts on our awareness and connect us together. Once we are together, whether we do something or not is totally up to us. In other words, TIG is a mean for inspiring people to achieve their goals, it's definitely not all that we need. I believe TakingITGlobal can help me achieve my goals. Where else could I find a youth-based international network to well...network with? TIG is also an amazing place to plan and implement projects, get inspired, or even to just get a small push in the right direction.
