To answer this question I first have to say that I often find it difficult to obey authority figures who I feel are not justified in terms of the ways they lead others. Yet, I strongly agree that we all need leadership but leaders should be chosen democratically and their methods should be open to public critique. I am inspired by the written word and by the actions of those determined to bring about change in this world. After reading the book, "The Irresistible Revolution" by Shane Claiborne, I discovered that world peace is possible but it requires us to change the way we live our lives, the way we take in our surroundings, and the way we experience the world around us. TIG has helped me/us achieve a lot in terms of offering a forum to interact with young people from all over the world to share experience and even meet to discus great things. I have made great friends who have ended up changing my perception on many things. I did meet these people on TIG.
