I am truly inspired by God; just take a look at the beauty of nature among the bees, grasshoppers, and ants and you will understand what I mean. I am also inspired when youth unite as one force whether it be on issues of climate change and environmental protection, or equal rights and justice. I have been a friend, companion and sister to many young people who are silenced by all sorts of trauma in different levels. I am really into peer-counselling. This means I have to be the 'voice' of reason to someone who feels trapped and sees no escape. This also means that as a young person myself, I have to lead by example and practice what I preach. There are a lot of issues that i come across everyday: teenage pregnancy, suicide, domestic abuse, substance abuse and more. ( read more)
