Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all geared for the Christmas Holidays! Well I have a present for you, complements of Environment Youth 2K (EY2K). We have been growing as an organisation and as part of our strategic plan for 2003 we would like to incorporate new volunteer members into our organisation. Membership to EY2K is free.
EY2K is registered with Zimbabwe Youth Council under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Development, Gender and Employment Creation
EY2K strives to promote sustainable development of the environment through the active participation of the young men and women in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries.
EY2K is calling for applicants to fill in the post of Public Relations and Marketing Director. This a demanding post that requires a dedicated young volunteer preferably a student (from any institution in Zimbabwe), with a passion to promote environmental awareness. No specific experience or qualification is required but a knowledge of the demands of Public Relations would be an added advantage. Note that this post is open to every young person, and that EY2K believes in promoting an engendered process and will give due consideration to this effect.

If you are interested in either filing the above post or becoming a member please reply with your request to; The Executive Director EY2K at the following e-mail ey2k@junglemate.com ,or write to P.O Box CY 2873 Causeway, Harare, and we will send you an application form either electronically or by post. If you would like to know more about EY2K get in touch with us on the above addresses.

hello people this serves to find if we are all on the same wave length. I think the lack of a concrete definition of youth has paralised our very core of youth empowerement. Who is YOUTH?what constitutes youth to society, business, policy-makers?We need these questions answered first, lest through the words of Lauryn Hill we might think we are winning on one hand yet we are losing on the other, think about it! and send me your comments
