First Day at TIG!

I was walking up the stairs from St. Andrew's station when I started thinking, "I wonder if they will like me? Will they ask me a question that I don't have an answer for? Will they expect too much or too little from me?" But once I opened the door of the office, those thoughts seemed to disappear. I was still quite nervous but I knew that I would be welcomed!
The staff here is extremely nice and very helpful. They weren't intimidating or scary like I thought they might be. The atmosphere could be described in one word; amazing! The colour used in each of the rooms brings a sense of warmth and comfort that is very welcoming.
A computer was set up for me and I was instructed of what I would be doing. I worked as diligently as possible to obtain research on the topic at hand. A little while later I was helping putting together packages that were going to be mailed out to feature members. I even got to go to the post office! To some it may seem odd but I was glad to help. Every little thing helps no matter what it is.
The last part of the day was the orientation with the other co-op students. It was great to meet other people with similar interests and to partake in a fun group activity. We had pizza for dinner (Thank You, it was great!) and wrapped it all up with an excellent presentation about the company.
It was a very memorable day and I look forward to completing my co-op position here. Thanks for such a memorable day!
