                    <description><![CDATA[The YMCA Global Teens program sends teenagers from the NYC area (13-18) abroad for roughly two weeks during the summer to engage in cultural exchange, meaningful service and experiencial learning around a specific social issue. <br />
<br />
This summer, trips will be travelling to Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Italy, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand and a domestic trip to the Chickasaw Nation in Oklahoma. Issues being addressed include human rights, freedom of expression, living green, immigration, diabetes prevention, and more.<br />

Each travel group has organized a service project related to their specific social issue in the NYC area for Global Youth Service Day. For more information, please contact:<br />
