The Member Story I Read

Link: http://www.takingitglobal.org/connections/stories/story.html?MemberID=8895
The reason I chose this story is because when I read the little preview, it meant sometehing. when se said: "My grandmother who stood up to soldiers at war, my mother who worked from sunlight to starlight, my sister's commitment to our family, my brothers' hard work to make us happy. I am inspired by persistence in the face of pain, endurance in the face of poverty, courage in the face of adversity." It really ment something, not just words but feelings of what that girl has seen. Also what her family has seen, and I felt for her, simpathy, but happiness for her. Happiness because she became a better person because of her expirience and it has driven her to make a differerence.
This girl was inspiered from her pain, memories, and her family's past and history of the thigs they did to stand up and take charge.

The way this girls expirience was different from mine is I have gotten almost everything I want and I am also... really Spoiled and this girl did not have all this stuff that I do. She also probably did not have as many options available to herself like I do.
