What inspires you?

I take inspiration from the hurdles we face in our life, the challenges that carve a niche of existence for us every other day when we are tried by life's different aspects. The way we deal and say I am not going to give up here, I wanna move on. Set up new goal and bend our back to get there even if the world conspires against us to get there. It is the mental strength that God blessed man with which pushes us in Life.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

Human Rights Violation and occupation of my land, Kashmir is what matters to me. As I grew up history told me how free we were and how circumstances told me how oppressed we are. The custodial disappearances, the mass graves, enormous foreign troops and killings inflicted in me the love of Freedom. We in Kashmir have chosen non-violence to protest against our occupation and I choose to write against it. My people in my Land matter to me and the freedom to all is my ambition.

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

The never say "pack up" attitude is what a Leader should be made of. The leader himself should have a sound conscience about the life of his followers. Decision making of a leader either destroys or elevates a nation, so its important that the sense of reasoning of a leader should be sound.

TIG is a forum where I can communicate with people from around the world and share with them the plight of a nation under occupation. It would help my cause, as more and more people around the world would get aware about the United Nations' longest standing dispute. The solution to the Kashmir dispute is very important for the Peace in Asia and most importantly for the people of Kashmir. Here at TIG, I would like to appeal people around the world to raise their voice against Human Rights Violations anywhere in the world for a better and peaceful world
