Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became involved.

I am very much concerned about the issue of children and youth. It is my desire and interest to see that I fight social vices like child abuse, illiteracy among young girls and boys and ensure that they are shaped into good citizens. This is part of my agenda also as a teacher.

What kind of a future do you hope to create through education?

First of all I will use my personal educational experience to encourage the youth to remain in school for sometime if they have the opportunity. In the future I anticipate to start a vocational training school which can help many of the youngsters to be self reliant. This can be done through networking and sharing information and support.

class="question"How are you taking your classroom global, and what role is technology playing in the process?

I am using technology in this process by accessing different materials from other parts of the globe on the internet which I use as case studies for my research. I hope to develop more information from this technology which will enable me to help several youth in my community.

Do you think TIG can help you achieve some of your goals? Have we already? Please tell us how.

As I mentioned above, with the help of TIG, I will be able to assist my students on how to acquire modern technological skills through computer study and knowledge. I will make sure that I acquire several computers, so that these students may be able to access computer knowledge and information.
