What inspires you?

I am inspired by young people engaged in entrepreneurship. Most of the challenges that has besieged the world today can be laid at the doorstep of poverty especially in developing economies. If young people can engage their talents, skills, potentials and/or abilities productively, then they can successfully deal their with individual or personal issues thus having a cumulative effect. 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill has been a great inspiration to me

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

Massive youth umemployment is an area that matters to me. Through TIG, I have learnt some ideas, experiences that have aided me in my personal initiatives. I have been able to successfully organised a forum on Social Entrepreneurship in Ghana. I have contributed by assisting fellow young people in writing or editing business proposals and other documents in the discharge of their respective initiatives.

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

Excellence and good human relations are two main qualities that I believe make a good leader. I believe to be a leader, one must be willing to go the extra mile or going beyond the ordinary through creativity or innovation.
Also, having good human relations is vital since a team is necessary for any vision to be accomplish. Understanding people's temperament, culture background, educational standards, traditional beliefs, religious stands etc gives one leverage to work with others successfully.

Do you think TakingITGlobal can help you achieve some of your goals? Have we already? Please tell us how.

Though TakingITGlobal has help me by creating the platform to meet other young people from different parts of the world, I believe more could be done. For instance, each of the MDGs could be addressed separately where opinions of young people would be sought and presented to policy makers on governmental levels as well as other stakeholders. If the future belongs to today's young people, then they must be involve in the planning process.
